I am a highly skilled IT Professional with over 15 years of experience and a passion for working with people. I love supporting teams and individuals to achieve their goals and create value that they can be proud of.
My interest in computers started in the late 80s, learning BASIC on the Amstrad CPC. Since then I have:
- Restructured the IT Department of a startup introducing new workflows and processes boosting productivity and raising quality standards
- Created an in-depth assessment on Development, Communication and Delivery for an established product company
- Acted as Engineering Manager working with several international teams in different time zones
- Worked in an international deep-tech consultancy supporting many different international clients enabling them to build and deploy high quality software and removing their bottlenecks
- Organized an facilitated an Open Space conference on Functional Programming for an international audience
- Designed, Implemented and led an Apprenticeship Program to onboard, coach and mentor Junior Engineers
- Built and led a Developer Experience Team revamping the company internal CI/CD infrastructure and enabling Engineers with tooling and coaching
- Run workshops on Functional Programming and Immutable Infrastructure at clients and conferences
- Worked on JavaScript Frontend and Backend Services in an e-commerce environment
- Worked on multiple Java Enterprise projects
- Designed and implemented firmware kernels for different microcontollers in C and Assembly
